Brothers Restaurant coming to Blue Ridge!!!

I just read on a blog that the Old Cabin Grill was purchased by Brothers in Murphy NC. They are shooting for a March 2009 opening.

I sure hope this is true! Blue Ridge is in dire need of great restaurants and we have loved going to Brothers in NC (right near the flea market). Great country atmosphere and great food (especially breakfast)!!

Oh Dear, my poor expanding waistline! Brother%26#39;s has fantastic food and I think it would do very well in Blue Ridge. Let%26#39;s keep our fingers crossed!

This is great news, there is definitely a need for more dining options in Blue Ridge. Brother%26#39;s in Murphy has a breakfast bar on the weekends and I love their fried pickles.

They are looking to open up in Blue Ridge but nothing is final yet. Let%26#39;s cross our fingers....

Unfortunately, we visited Brothers in Ranger/Murphy a couple of weeks ago and found out that this in not a done deal. In fact, they are not sure if they are ready to take on another location at this time.

One can only hope right!

I would certainly not call this official but there is a Tin Loong banner hanging across the front door of the old Cabin Grill. There has been quite a bit of remodeling going on the past weeks. Tin Loong has a place in Ellijay, Chinese and Sushi. Not bad if you like Chinese buffet, but I don%26#39;t do sushi.

Yep, the Tin Loong which used to be in Blue Ridge in the Ingles Shopping Center is back but with hibachi tables. The owners bought the Cabin Grill location and are working on it now.

I was hoping for something more along the lines of some good Southern eats, was kinda disappointed about hearing Tin Loong had taken ownership(I wish them luck),I guess they can%26#39;t do any worse than the';Cabin Grill';.We have eaten at the one in Ellijay and the one that use to be in the Ingle%26#39;s shopping center and was not very impressed,so I don%26#39;t know if we will venture this one. Please don%26#39;t take my opinion that this chain is no good, maybe the quality of the food has gotten better since the last time I ate at these locations.

Being a fan of sushi, Tin Loong is on my list of must eat places. However I do understand for those not living here full time you%26#39;re looking for the true mountain experience.

The addition of habachi can be fun for families.
