Am driving to Atlanta for good fare on Spirit Airlines. Live about 4 hours from Atlanta. Flight leaves 9am, return 12 days later at 10pm. After doing homework on park/fly and park/sleep/fly, I have reached the conclusion that my best bet is stay at a motel near the airport, make a reservation for the night of my return, drive myself to long term parking at airport. Comments, please? Recommend inexpensive motel near airport? Am coming from TN.
need advice re park/fly options
You are probably better off staying at an airport hotel that offers free airport parking, which will take you to the airport in its own shuttle.
Or, look for parking coupons at longtermparking.com, which will beat the airports own long term parking rates. Also, you might think about staying in the perimeter mall area and parking at the Sandy Springs or Dunwoody Marta stations, which just charge $4 a day. You can take MARTA straight into the airport, and it%26#39;s a much safer neighborhood.
