Is the Westin under construction?

We have a reservation at the Westin Savannah Harbor next week. We booked through Priceline and I have been reading some reviews on TA that say the hotel is renovating and some rooms are not complete, there is noise, people being turned away etc.

I called the hotel and they claim that they are not under construction and that there are no renovations being done and there should be no problems with the rooms.

Can anyone confirm this and does anyone know what is going on?

I don%26#39;t know of any construction on the Westin but it is across the river so not as obvious.

The Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf tournament, a leg of the senior PGA Champions Tour will be held at the Westin Savannah Harbour Resort beginning April 20-26. Scores of golfers, their families, media, spectators and the rest of the usual suspects are booked at the Westin. Renovations should be finished in advance of this huge event. I can%26#39;t imagine Greg Norman and wife Chris Evert having to sidestep painters%26#39; tarps and scaffolding in the hallways.

The hotel should be in its most pristine condition ever next week.
