I am planning a Savannah weekend getaway with my husband (4 days 3 nights) to celebrate our 20th anniversary in November. I need some expert advise on where to stay, B%26amp;B or hotel at the beach? It seems that most reviews on B%26amp;B are very positive. We have never try B%26amp;B before, should we give it a try?

The B%26amp;B experience is more social and interactive with owners and guests than a regular hotel stay, if you would like that then try it. My wife and I don%26#39;t, I prefer anonymity when I travel, I am not looking to meet a bunch of people, we want to be alone as a rule.
There are many big chain hotels, smaller locally owned hotels and B%26amp;Bs in the Historic District. Whichever way you decide to go there are lots of choices.
I would visit the beach but not stay there in November, many places are closed for the winter and it is often windy and cold. Then again, it is quiet and romantic!

Thanks for your advice. I am actually not too keen on meeting people on this trip. I would not mind doing so on a family trip with my four children. It has been a long time since my husband and I took a trip without our children. I am hoping to make this trip an unforgettable one for both of us. Any advice on which hotel to stay that has easy access to good food, live music at night and seeing places without having to drive? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
