There%26#39;s a new italian restaurant just on the edge of Blue Ridge as your heading towards Blairesville - on the right side of the road up on the hill. I can%26#39;t remember the name of the place. The actually restaurant has been around for a while, and I believe this is the 3rd time it%26#39;s changed names (not sure about owners - whether they are the same or not). I think it was a sport theme before.
I was in the Chamber of Commerce on Monday and one of the ladies said it was excellent. We tried to call (thank goodness we didn%26#39;t drive out there) but it%26#39;s not open on Monday or Tuesdays. And it%26#39;s only open for dinner.
Does anyone remember the name of the place and I%26#39;d love to hear your feedback if you%26#39;ve tried it.
New Italian Restaurant
Luxurycabinblueridge,
I haven%26#39;t ever eaten there before but I think the name of it is Cucina Rustica.
New Italian Restaurant
Yes - that is the name of it! Love to hear reviews! And if anyone knows if it%26#39;s the same owners as before or if it changed hands.
Any reviews would be greatly appreciated, also are they far enough out of Blue Ridge that you can at least BYOB?
it was once called mama???? rosa%26#39;s maybe and was quite good nad had been there so long it had become an institution, as we ate there several times. i am glad it is returning, the place that had occupied that place was easily forgetable.
Yes..It is Cucina Rustica 706-374-7474 and it is at the corner of 515 and Forge Mill... We eat there almost every weekend : ) Highly recommend the restaurant as well as making reservations since they get quite busy. I%26#39;m pretty sure they are open Wed-Sat. for dinner only and yes, you can brown bag!
They are new owners {John and Isabella}.. they have had restaurant experience in the past from what I understand but not in Blue Ridge.
Hope you try it and enjoy it as much as we do.
we cannot wait to try it out, what do you reccomend off the menu?
We have tried most of the menu.. loved everything so far but I think my favorite is the lasagna {much lighter than the regular receipe} and my husband loves the chicken parm. We also like to get one of the pizza%26#39;s as an appetizer and take some home for the next day to rebake as a snack... yummy! : )
WOO HOO! Wine near Blue Ridge. It just keeps getting better.
It is great food but dont even think about going without a reservation. During weekends it can get crowded and you wont be seated. Management has a tendancy to get frazzled when the resturaunt is full and can be a tad rude to non-reservation guests. The food is worth it though. I am planning to get reservations for this Thursday and am hoping the new seasonal menu is out.
We had friends who went last week and raved about it. They said the appetizer portions are quite large, don%26#39;t order one per person. It is a bring your own bottle restaurant.
Other friends (world travelers) said it was the best they%26#39;ve had.
Let%26#39;s show them Blue Ridge can support fine dining.
