We just returned from a visit to the King Tut exhibit. We all enjoyed our visit. We did not do the movie or take the audio tour. We walked through the exhibit on our own and stopped to read and enjoy the exhibit. We got there at 1:30 and left about 3:15. We felt that it was well worth the $28 we paid for tickets. Our favorite part of the exhibit was the jewelry.
King Tut Exhibit report
Thanks for the report. I cannot recall whether I have already ordered tickets. If so, I guess I%26#39;ll hope it%26#39;s on my calendar somewhere and wait until my designated date. If not, I%26#39;m going to go this weekend.

How far is the exhibit from the Aquarium?
It%26#39;s probably a mile from the aquarium, but you can take MARTA to the Civic Center, where it%26#39;s located, so it%26#39;s easy to get between the two.
I heard a report that the Tut exhibit is hurting for visitors with the bad economy. Did you go on a weekend? Were the crowds bad?
We went on Wed. afternoon and no there were no crowds. There were probably 30-40 people in the entire exhibit- as many security guards as people.
I enjoyed it but was disappoited no cmaeras were allowed in and also in the gift shop there wasnt much thing made in Egypt mostlty china and mexico
