Does anyone know of a good CLEAN Motel close to 6 Flags . looking for safe , clean and priced good !!! can u help me?

The area around Six Flags really is not the nicest or the safest. If Six Flags is the only reason you%26#39;re coming to Atlanta, I would recommend staying a few exits west of Six Flags, perhaps in Douglasville, and just driving a few minutes more to get to the park.

thankyou. yes I was told the motels around 6 flags were not that good. Do you know of an exit with motels and food?

Stay at the Sleep Inn at Highway 5 exit. There is a McDonalds, Zaxbys, Cracker Barrel, Walmart and Arbor Place Mall close by. We stayed at the Sleep Inn when our house was struck by lightning last year. It will only take you about 15 minutes to get to Six Flags.

The main exit for Douglasville is Chapel Hill Road, which is Exit 36, but I think anyway in Douglasville would be OK. You probably won%26#39;t fine fine dining, but there should be plenty of chain restaurants around.

The Douglasville exits are Hwy 5, Chapel Hill, Fairburn Rd. The Lithia Springs exits are Lee Rd, and Thornton, with thornton being the closest to six flags. There is a fairfield inn on thornton rd that should be fine.

The Hwy 5 exit is close to a mall and super walmart. Hwy 5 is about 8-10 miles from Thornton rd.

As far as dining in douglasville, check out Gumbeaux%26#39;s Cajun and Hudson%26#39;s BBQ both downtown dville on Hwy 278.
