We stayed in a condo near Atlantic Station in April 2009. I had thought that Atlantic Station was going to be something worth seeing - not so! it is a weak excuse for a shopping site, probably less than a fourth of the shops you would expect to find in a real mall. There are nearly twenty restaurants, among which we thought that the California Kitchen Pizza restaurant was fairly good for mid level pricing. The Target and the Publix stores in A.S. are far below what you normally expect to find in their new stores. In the evenings the whole place is overrun with young people who appear to be just loitering and visiting. There is a substantial cinema complex that we did not visit.
Generally speaking, I could not think of any reason that a traveler would want to go there, except possibly for young people who just want the crowds and action in the evening.
Atlantic Station; a big nothing
Um, yeah, that%26#39;s what we%26#39;ve been saying all along. Good set-up. Awful ';cruising'; scene on weekend nights. Same stores you%26#39;d see in any mall in any suburb in America. The movie theater is nice, though.
Atlantic Station; a big nothing
I enjoyed the Dialog in the Dark exhibit.
