Travelling to Savannah in late June with family, want to take them on a fishing charter...2 kids ages 7 and 11, ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Do you want to go inshore or offshore?

If you want to do an inshore trip I would get in touch with either Capt. Jack McGowan or Capt. Stan Allen. They both are very good and will work hard to put you on fish. Stan is a full time fireman who charters on his off days. His boat is dock by the Crab Shack if you want some good food. Do a google search. Jacks phone number is 912-441-9930 and Stans number is 912-308-7878. I have fished repeatly with both and will continue too.

If you want to go offshore I would use either Steve Amick%26#39;s company or Miss Judy%26#39;s group. They both have fished Savannah for 30 plus years and are the leader in offshore fishing. You can find their web page by either doing a search for ';Miss Judy Charters'; or ';amicks deep sea fishing';.

You will be happy with any of these people. If the fish are biting they will put you on them. Let them know the ages of the kids and they could make some recommendations.

One thing you might want to think about is that children that age tend to get seasick quickly. It might not be wise to go on an offshore charter for that reason. There%26#39;s a lot more motion out than there is inshore.

And don%26#39;t forget the sunscreen.
