Hello, local Savannahians and World Travelers! I am needing some sound advice and help. We are a group of Women traveling down to Savannah, GA in June that is needing some direction. We are wanting to to getaway to enjoy the city, markets, shops, dining and most of all to relax. Being that said, we are needing some suggestion of places to stay for 3 or 4 nights. We are not trying to spend a lot of money, yet have a good time! We would like to either stay in a house, cottage or hotel. Can anyone suggest a place to stay for the weekend?

Savannah Getaway for Girls in June
Many people like to stay right downtown in the Historic District, that way you can walk to shops and restaurants and the sites and leave your car parked.
The problem with that is the hotels downtown tend to be expensive.
A good alternative if you have a big group, is to rent a house. Look here end see what you can find:
