I read somewhere that there is an old shrimp boat wreck on the beach at Jekyll Island. I am going to spend this upcoming weekend camping there and was just hoping someone could point me in the right direction as I imagine it could be hard to find with 10 miles of beaches.
Also, is there any specific area or thing that is recommended? I have a great appreciation for nature and see that there are plentiful nature trails, forests, beaches, etc., so if anyone has a specific recommendation for me that would be great. I will be on foot with my girlfriend and my dog, so any advice that can send us to the highlights without having to walk the whole island would be nice. Thanks!
