We will be visiting Savannah for a few days the 1st of May and are wondering if our small yorkie will be able to go on the carriage tour with us.
Also, any pet friendly hotels that you can recommend.

Are you looking for specifically for a hotel, or would you consider B%26amp;Bs?
I don%26#39;t know any hotels that allow dogs - though I%26#39;m sure there are some.
B%26amp;Bs - there are a number that do allow dogs. I know the Catherine Ward House Inn does.
As for tours - I know that the overview tours typically allow dogs as long as they are on a leash and well behaved. I would assume the carriage tours are similar.

Old Savannah Tours welcomes leashed dogs. I believe the other trolley tours will allow only guide dogs.
The carriage tour companies will warn dog owners that if their dogs bark and bark enough to scare the horses, they cannot stay on the carriage due to liability issues.
The Westin is a dog-friendly hotel.

This is a great site, you can see how much they charge and the weight limits. Each hotel is different, example, Hampton Inn in Va didn%26#39;t charge me a thing but the Hilton Homewood suites in Savannah charged me 45.00. I think we are going to use Baymont, we have Boxers so have to watch the weight limit. I would much rather stay in the historic district but we are just making a short one night stop this trip.
We recently stayed at the Old Harbour Inn with our dog. Great pet friendly hotel
