Hello all! I am bringing my husband and our two girls, aged 2 and 8 months, to Atlanta for his birthday over the Memorial Day weekend, arriving Saturday and leaving Monday.We are planning on seeing a Braves game and going to the Aquarium and the Zoo. We will be driving over from Alabama, so we will have our own transportation. Can you guys recommend a hotel in the Midtown area? I would love something with a kitchen for the baby, but that is not a deal breaker.... Anything else going on in Atlanta right now that might be something to add to our must see list?

Trip/Hotel Advice
If I were you I would look at Regency Suites, Residence Inn, or Best Western Granada Suites first (although BWGS is under renovation and I%26#39;m not sure how inconvenient that would be). You might be able to get a good deal at the Palomar because it just opened (I love Kimpton hotels) or at the Georgian Terrace or Hotel Indigo.
I%26#39;m not aware of anything special in Atlanta that weekend, but you might think about the Imagine It! Children%26#39;s Museum, which would be good for your 2-year-old, or that Atlanta Botanical Garden, which has a great kids%26#39; area. Definitely plan on spending some time at Centennial Park after the aquarium, and you may want to bring some towels and a change of clothes. Your little girl would love playing in the fountains there.
