I麓d like to recommend the Best Western - Promenade in Savannah. Very good location and a fair price. However if you already know this hotel or intend to stay there help convincing the hotel owners to give a noise reduction treatment to the room麓s window and door. The external noise completely offsets the comfort of the room pushing you out of the bed as early as 6:00 in the morning. Remarks: you only fell asleep the night before around 03:00 AM because of the car麓s horns and shouts in the streets...

I hope you posted that in the hotel review section of this site. Thanks for the input. The noise of Bay Street is often addressed here, it is an issue at several hotels.
