Fine dining restaurant

My husband is a real foodie, we are looking for a special occasion type restaurant fine dining. French is our favorite. Many great restaurants in Hilton Head, but none exactly right. Any recomemdations? Also, any really fun and kid friendly ones?

Looking through, I realize Saphire Grill looks like a good option. Any other ideas?

There is a little fixed price place on Tattanal, near Liberty that is supposed to be very good, I can%26#39;t remember the name....

There is also a brand new little place, I think mostly set up for takeout on Broughton, supposed to be french inspired food, no name again...No finer dining than delicious takeout in a square.

Il Pasticcio is often excellent italian, I have seen them have bad nights though.

Ruth%26#39;s Chris is a very good steak place, a chain but quite good food.

We abound in the fun kid friendly places Vinnie van go gos pizza by the slice in City Market, Wild wings at the other end of the market, B%26amp;D Burgers on Broughton, Juarez on Broughton to name a few.

Great which ones do the kids like more. We%26#39;ll probably do two day trips.
