We are headed to jekyll camping this next week and bringing our kayaks- we would like to do some paddling with a group- can you suggest any outfitters? we have kayaks but don%26#39;t know the area well enough with the tides to go it alone...suggestions?

Do a search here under kayaks as I asked the same types of questions a few months or weeks ago and the responses included links (which I deleted) to local outfitters. I think though that I only asked for Jekyll Island but there%26#39;ll be something there. We never went on our latest trip so I can%26#39;t tell you how good any of them are.

Southeast Adventure outfitters of Saint Simons will be your best bet. They also have a Brunswick store halfway between the Jekyll causeway and St. Simons causeway. Thier St.simons # is (912) Me-to-sea (638-6732). Ask for Michael, Cindy, or Robbie. The whole staff is very knowlegable and helpful.
