I hear Trader Vic%26#39;s is a fun place, and it%26#39;s in downtown Atlanta.

Trader Vic%26#39;s is only an option if you%26#39;re there on a Thursday night, when the band Tongo Hiti is playing. Otherwise its an overpriced tourist trap, and you won%26#39;t see anyone from Atlanta there.

Here%26#39;s a list of my suggestions, most of which are in midtown. All of these places have websites that you can find on Google: Two Urban Licks, Surin, Ecco, One Midtown Kitchen, Dolce, Vickery%26#39;s (good bar scene and location, average food), Fontaine%26#39;s, Shout, Vortex, TAP.

Just got back from ATL and loved Legal Sea Food over by the Aquarium. Great food, great service, excellent views and a cool bar area. Could handle your large party with ease! Enjoy!

One Midtown Kitchen (feels like a club/lounge but great food)

Loca Luna (good tapas good drinks)

South City Kitchen - I%26#39;ve only been to the one in Vinnings which is a mecca for 20 somethings - great bar and good southern food

Sotto Sotto/Fritti%26#39;s - great Italian, in the Highlands, another 20 something mecca
