Country music and dancing in around Atlanta

Would like to find a venue for country music or any good dance club for 40 somethings.

Sat May 16

Does not have to be downtown but within decent driving distance as will be at the Aquarium and CC on Sunday /Monday and fly out Hartsfield Tuesday

Ideal would be a hotel central or easy reach of all these activities.

Sure would appreciate suggestions!

TIA

The only place I know about would be Cowboys in Kennesaw, but when I looked for its website the link didn%26#39;t work. That may mean it%26#39;s closed. If you see Three Legged Cowboy listed anywhere, you should be aware that it%26#39;s a gay bar.

I%26#39;m from Iowa (we don%26#39;t grow potatoes) and we like folks that are gay and happy...wait...did you mean?...OH!

O....Kay........

Staying at the Crowne Plaza in Perimeter.

Any suggestions for fun stuff around there?

I really like country dancing but anywhere there%26#39;s fun (not gay) folks and music

You might give the Wildwing Cafe a try they tend to alternate nights with southern rock and country.

There%26#39;s a Taco Mac near your hotel, which isn%26#39;t a dance club and probably won%26#39;t have live music, but has a huge beer selection and is very popular. The Royal Oak Pub nearby also draws a crowd of regulars. If you%26#39;re up for driving a few miles, Lassiter%26#39;s in the Vinings should be right up your alley.

Oops that%26#39;s Laseters.

Thanks, but the reviews on Taco mac sound very ordinary. There simply has to be a dance hall %26#39;round here somewhere..

Perhaps Wild Bill%26#39;s then? Honestly, I%26#39;m not sure Atlanta has what you%26#39;re looking for. I don%26#39;t think country music is very big in the city.
