Just wondering what types of deals you all have found on priceline lately for hotels in the historic district?
Any suggestions?
What the best deal you have received on priceline
I bid on a 4 star a few weeks ago and ended up with the Westin at 126 dollars... plus the fees... plus the Westin%26#39;s additional resort fee. That added up to about 165/night. This was still cheeper than the going rate at the Westin, but I didn%26#39;t like being across the river and having to ferry over. The Westin was beautiful and the rooms were recently redone, but I lacks the charm of the hotels in the historic district. Since we were only there for one night we were not able to enjoy some of the resort ';extras'; that make the stay there worth it.
I don%26#39;t know if I would risk doing the priceline again. Then again, I am pretty picky about location.
Most of the hotels in the district have some good packages going right now.
