Sunday in Savannah

What to expect are a lot of things closed? We will be there next weekend arriving early Friday and Leaving on Monday and just wondering about Sunday and what might be closed or if this is even a issue in the historic district.

Most everything is open on Sunday. Museums open between noon and 1pm. Free parking all day at the Visitors Center lot on MLK Blvd. Do not pay a parking meter on weekends if you park on a street.

Sunday is the nicest day of the week to be a tourist as the traffic is not an issue.

Some of the restaurants are closed... Mrs. Wilkes (if that is one you want to try) I believe is closed on the weekends.

I have always ended up going on a Sunday-Monday and it hasn%26#39;t been problematic.

Yes I am bummed out about Mrs Wilkes not being open on the weekends. Maybe we can get there early enough on Friday to catch her, but I am not counting on it. Oh well next time.
